BavarianSimTec Quick Release for Asetek Wheelbase

Simply put: The Invicta Quick Release Adapter (from BavarianSimTec) allows you to mount all BavarianSimTec Steering Wheels directly on any Asetek SimSports Wheelbase without the need for a USB cable.

What makes the Invicta™ Quick Release (from BavarianSimTec) so unique? With our solution, there is truly no USB cable between the ΩONE / ΩPRO Steering Wheel and the Asetek Wheelbase – this is the only sensible solution!

To achieve this, we worked closely with Asetek from the start on the development of the QR. With our Invicta™ Quick Release (from BavarianSimTec), we modify the electronics and the internal USB cable so that the QR can be connected directly to the Steering Wheel. This is done via an internal connector that all ΩPRO / ΩONE Steering Wheels are equipped with. The connection can be made without opening the ΩONE / ΩPRO housing and takes only one minute.

All ΩONE Steering Wheels delivered so far have this connector, meaning they can be retrofitted with the Invicta™ Quick Release (from BavarianSimTec), underlining the future-proofing of our Steering Wheels.

Please note: Only if you buy the QR directly from BavarianSimTec will you receive a wireless version for your Steering Wheel. If you buy the QR from Asetek or another dealer, the QR has a USB-A connector on the Steering Wheel side, and you still have a USB cable hanging around (as shown in Asetek’s explanatory video).

*The Invicta Quick Release Adapter Kit features a built-in safety release at 500 N with a 320 mm Steering Wheel, meaning accidental detachment of the Steering Wheel is excluded. It also provides a safety release in case something goes wrong.

Attention: Add the Steering Wheel version only together with your ΩONE or ΩPRO racing Steering Wheel order!
